The Fall Fest, presented by the Flashes Activities Board (FAB) was a spectacular celebration of the season with fun activities including crafts, marshmallow toasting carriage rides and the Haymaker Farmers' Market. 

The new "Get to Know ����ɬ����" video from ����ɬ���� Admissions features 14 students from across the university inviting curious potential Golden Flashes to take a virtual look into the campus. Not only do these ����ɬ���� narrators spotlight the university’s global opportunities and local highlights, but they also had a great time doing it.

Students in the Horticulture program at ����ɬ���� at Salem help to keep their campus looking great year round by preparing perennial plants for storage as seasons change. 

����ɬ���� will welcome prospective students to campus for its Preview KSU events on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. These comprehensive visit programs offer high school and transfer students an immersive look at life as a Golden Flash.

Meet Alison Bredek, a junior environmental studies major with a minor in park management from North Ridgeville, Ohio, and the treasurer of the Future Environmental Professionals Club with the big dream of becoming a park ranger for the National Park Service.

For Haider Riaz, the first orchestra concert of the season was an unforgettable experience. His original composition, “To the Memory of Shiver-Me, the CAT,” was premiered by the ����ɬ���� Orchestra, marking a significant artistic milestone for the young composer and offering the audience a moving tribute to a beloved pet.

There's a massive pumpkin inviting visitors to guess its weight inside the Herrick Conservatory. It's an annual tradition presented by student volunteers studying in the Department of Biological Sciences.

Increased activity in the sun's solar winds and the earth's magnetic field has produced appearances by the northern lights  in regions where they are not typically visible - like the skies above the Kent Campus. A ����ɬ���� photographer captured spectacular images of the display. 

Three Minute Thesis is an opportunity for graduate students to put their academic, presentation, and research communication skills to the test by presenting research in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

The United States is approaching a so-called “enrollment cliff” or “demographic cliff,” a projection that is being closely monitored by those in higher education. For many American women, saving for retirement can be challenging for many reasons. A recent USA Today article noted that women have less than half the retirement savings of men. ����ɬ���� values setting their students up for success, but what does this mean for women at the university?

The E. Timothy Moore Student Multicultural Center at ����ɬ���� created a theme for this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month based on acknowledging the fight that Latine/x people have made for justice and equity in the spaces they occupy.

Kellie Rose Kordinak is in an elite group of American college students. The senior from the ����ɬ���� Stark Campus was recently named a 2024 Portz Scholar by the National Collegiate Honors Council – one of only four students from across the country.
