For the fifth consecutive year, the Division of Student Life at ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ has been recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) - College Student Educators International and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.
Summer camps for kids interested in architecture don’t come along often – at least that’s what Elise Bolton’s mother discovered when she searched for one. But then, not a whole lot of 11-year-olds may dream of becoming architects. But that was the case for Bolton, a sophomore in ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½â€™s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, who knew from when she was a young child that she wanted to be an architect.
The Flashes Activities Board brought some cowboy fun to ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ with the FAB Wild West Rodeo. Presented inside the Kent Student Center Ballroom, the activities mechanical bull-riding, line dancing, a Skee-Ball shooting gallery and a free ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ cowboy hat giveaway!
Through the Veterans Affairs Work-Study program, the Credit Transfer Office – which plays a key role in supporting students through their academic journey from processing transfer credits from another institution to awarding Advanced Placement credits – hired a student worker to enhance the office’s operations. She's already making a difference.
For ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Honors Leadership Academy, spring break took a more impactful approach by traveling to Buffalo, New York, to work with the local community, specifically children.
