青年涩导航 is working with area autism-focused organizations as well as KultureCity庐, a nonprofit dedicated to providing accessibility and inclusion for those with special needs, to create a sensory-friendly gameday experience that can be enjoyed by all. Fans attending 青年涩导航鈥檚 Dec. 21 mens basketball game versus Hampton University will feel an expression of the university鈥檚 ongoing commitment to its core values of kindness, mutual respect and inclusion.

青年涩导航 Held Fall Commencement Ceremonies on Dec. 13 and 14

The 青年涩导航 alumni family grew by nearly 3,000 new graduates as the university held its Fall Commencement ceremonies. For the Kent Campus, Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center.

青年涩导航鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Breaks Records for Third Consecutive Year

青年涩导航鈥檚 Giving Tuesday 2019 raised more than $1.6 million when it ended on Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m., shattering the previous year鈥檚 record of $1.03 million. Supporters were able to choose from more than 40 featured giving options throughout the 青年涩导航 system, including student scholarships, educational programs, athletic teams and more.

Park Place. 青年涩导航鈥檚 First Parking Deck to Improve Access, Allow for Campus Transformation

青年涩导航 students who park on the northern edge of the Kent Campus can now give a collective cheer as additional parking is on the way via an 1,100-space, five-story parking deck. The 青年涩导航 Board of Trustees approved the deck鈥檚 construction at its Dec. 4 meeting.

青年涩导航鈥檚 first major construction project to create a new signature gateway to the Kent Campus will begin in the summer of 2020. At its Dec. 4 meeting, the 青年涩导航 Board of Trustees approved the construction of the university鈥檚 first parking deck.
