Bill Ayres Selected as New Dean and Chief Administrative Officer of ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ at Trumbull

Following a national search, R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D., of Toledo, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ at Trumbull. Ayres is currently a professor of political science at the University of Toledo, where he previously served as senior vice provost for academic affairs from 2018 to 2020 and vice provost for academic affairs from 2017 to 2018.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Receives $1.2 Million Federal Grant to Assist Adults in College Enrollment

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ a nearly $1.2 million, five-year TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers program grant. The program is designed to provide support services to qualified adults, including veterans, who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Names Manfred van Dulmen as University’s Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Division of Graduate Studies

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., announced the selection of Manfred van Dulmen, Ph.D., to serve as the university’s associate provost for academic affairs and dean of the Division of Graduate Studies, effective April 16.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ has named Margaret (Peggy) Shadduck, Ph.D., of Richardson, Texas, as its new vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. Shadduck was selected following a national search.

Tankersley, Hylton Discuss Ways Students Can Be Successful and Stay Connected During Remote Learning

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Interim Senior Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., and Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., discussed ways that students can make the most of remote classes while still benefiting from student services during a recent appearance on Facebook Live. Both answered live questions and discussed such areas as summer class schedules, support for struggling students and staying healthy.
