Visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Sets Stage for ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½-Sponsored Peace Conference

On July 10, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ students visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which serves as a place of remembrance and education, during the ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Kigali Summer Institute, a three-week education-abroad experience that includes the course Rwanda After the Genocide Against the Tutsi.

Rwandan Genocide Survivor Leading ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Outreach Efforts in Rwanda

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ graduate Pacifique Niyonzima, who as a child survived the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, is now back living in Rwanda leading ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½â€™s outreach efforts there.

Ohio Educators Heading to ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Peace Conference in Rwanda

Jeffrey Hartmann, Ph.D., principal of Stow-Munroe Falls High School, said he was interested in attending the conference to learn skills to deal with his school district’s changing landscape.
