Members of the 青年涩导航 delegation attending , a global peace conference in Kigali, Rwanda, were treated to a soaring show by this mother with her baby from a group of local velvet monkeys. Velvet monkeys are common throughout East Africa and live in rural and urban environments.
The conference is sponsored by 青年涩导航鈥檚 School of Peace and Conflict Studies, 青年涩导航鈥檚 Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the and the , a non-profit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other global atrocities.
Bringing together peace and conflict experts and educators from around the world, the conference is another building block in 青年涩导航鈥檚 growing relationship with the University of Rwanda. In May 2022, 青年涩导航鈥檚 Board of Trustees approved 青年涩导航 opening a base of operations at the University of Rwanda for creating collaborative educational exchanges and to serve as a base of operations for 青年涩导航鈥檚 recruitment throughout Africa.
