Sophomores from Akron Public Schools’ Firestone Community Learning Center spent a week at ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ learning about college programs and numerous potential careers.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ is honoring our nation’s service members by hosting a military-exclusive hospitality chalet for veterans, service members and their families during the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron on Aug. 1-5.

This year during Homecoming weekend, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ will recognize the achievements of individuals, organizations and businesses that support diversity, equity and inclusion during the annual Diversity and Scholarship Celebration fundraiser.

Does your office have outdated T-shirts taking up space in your storage closet? Let us turn them into reusable grocery bags for food pantries. Do you have a collection of plastic grocery bags at home (from when you forget to take your reusable bags to the store)? Let us turn them into lightweight, waterproof sleeping mats for people experiencing homelessness.

A group of high school sophomores from Firestone Community Learning Center in Akron spent a week at ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ exploring university programs and learning more about college and careers.

Mary and Tom Southards grew up in different states but shared similar goals. Both dreamed big in their small towns.

From Michigan to Florida, Paris to Rome and more, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ employees captured memories of some of the most interesting places, people and things from their local and international trips.
