The ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Foundation Inc. Grant Program will award up to $100,000 for the 2016-2017 academic year as part of its annual request for proposals. Funding will be available to departments, schools, colleges, institutes and centers systemwide.
TechHelp's Train Your Brain tech training sessions are in high gear this fall, with ongoing popular course offerings on topics such as Microsoft Office, Adobe products and Blackboard Learn. VITA offers tax preparation assistance to low- to moderate-income taxpayers. The service is free to students, employees and community members who meet the eligibility requirements.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ student-athletes continue to succeed in the classroom, according to statistics for the Graduation Success Rates (GSR) released on Nov. 4 by the NCAA.
ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½'s holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
