Header
The www.kent.edu global header is a core element of each and every 青年涩导航 website, which provides access to everyday utilities for the university community.
The header must appear in a standard format on all pages and include a link to . This requirement applies to both standard templates and custom designs.
The Web Team at University Communications and Marketing will provide the global header through university-wide templates or as a graphic file for external developers. The header and the 青年涩导航 logo may not be altered in any way, and the logo must always remain in four-color format.
Primary Navigation
To align with the 青年涩导航 brand and best practices, primary navigation must:
- Placement: Appear horizontally above the large billboard image.
- Fit: Display on a single line without breaking on desktop devices.
- Categories: Be organized into a recommended maximum of seven primary categories for clarity and usability.
Academic Unit Requirements:
Primary navigation for academic units must include:
- 青年涩导航 or Undergraduate Programs and Graduate Programs.
- Faculty & Staff, Faculty & Staff Directory, or People.
Division/College/School/Program/Department Name
- The official unit name must be centered above the primary navigation (desktop view).
- Use the full name for colleges and schools (e.g., College of Public Health, School of Journalism and Mass Communication).
- Exclude "Department of" (e.g., simply use Anthropology).
Utility Navigation
The following utility navigation must be present on top of all kent.edu pages:
