Erin Simonek and Madison Tromler may be familiar faces if you watch the local evening news in Youngstown.
Both are alumnae of 青年涩导航鈥檚 journalism program who graduated in 2020 and said having a degree from 青年涩导航 helped set them apart from the competition when they began their job searches.
Today, they are news anchors and multimedia journalists with 21 WFMJ-TV and credit the real-world training they experienced while studying at 青年涩导航 for their immediate success after graduation.
Simonek and Tromler sat down with 青年涩导航 Today to talk about their experiences in the university鈥檚 journalism program and how it prepared them to hit the ground running within the first week on the job.
