19 ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Programs Recognized Among Nation’s Best in New 2025 Best Graduate Schools Rankings

10 of the university’s graduate programs rank in the top 100

U.S. News & World Report has recognized 19 ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ programs as among the best in the nation in its newly released 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings. Among those, 10 programs rank in the top 100.

Leading its latest accolades, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ has secured the No. 7 spot on the Best Youth Library Services Programs list, No. 9 on the Best School Library Media Programs list and No. 16 on the Best Archival Science Programs list. For these three rankings, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ is the only Ohio institution placed on these lists.

Additional ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ programs rank in the top 100 in their fields. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ ranks No. 18 on the Best Rehabilitation Counseling Programs list, distinguishing itself as the top-ranked institution – public or private – in Ohio on the list. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ ranks No. 24 on the Best Library and Information Studies Programs list, making it the highest-ranked Ohio institution for this program. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ ranks No. 41 on the Best Audiology Programs list for the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium jointly administered by ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ and the University of Akron, making it the highest-ranked audiology program in northern Ohio. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ has moved up two spots to No. 61 on the Best Nursing Schools: Master’s list, again making it the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ comes in at No. 78 on the Best Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programs list, making it the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the list. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ ranks No. 92 on the Best Speech-Language Pathology Programs list and No. 100 on the Best Sociology Programs list, making the university the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio for these programs.

Nine programs are also recognized in the new Best Graduate Schools rankings. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ ranks No. 107 on the Best Political Science Programs list (the highest-ranked institution in northern Ohio), No. 107 on the Best Psychology Schools list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio), No. 113 on the Best Business Schools list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio), No. 114 on the Best Education Schools list (the highest-ranked institution in northern Ohio), No. 120 on the Best English Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio), No. 128 on the Best History Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio), No. 137 on the Best Public Health Schools list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio), No. 144 on the Best Public Affairs Programs list and No. 160 on the Best Computer Science Schools list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio).
