Each year, droughts cost crop farmers dearly. They experience not only a loss in yield, but also a reduction in the quality of the crops produced. But, what if new breeds of plants could be created that still thrive even without a drop of rain for weeks?
青年涩导航 invites the community to celebrate the launch of the Center for the Visual Arts on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on the second floor of Cartwright Hall, overlooking the center鈥檚 construction鈥

The groundbreaking for 青年涩导航鈥檚 new Center for Architecture and Environmental Design occurred Oct. 3. The building will serve as the new home of 青年涩导航鈥檚 College of Architecture and Environmental Design, bringing all of the programs of the college under one鈥

青年涩导航鈥檚 Annual Giving and Donor Services departments sponsored 鈥淭hank-A-Giver (T.A.G.) Day鈥 on Wednesday, Oct. 1, as a way of acknowledging and thanking the many generous donors, alumni and friends who help support 青年涩导航 and its students.

The fall 2014 Bowman Breakfast will take place at 青年涩导航 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program will follow at 8 a.m.
