ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ entered the day tied with No. 2 UCLA in sixth place but held its ground and fought off a tough battle from Oregon State. The Beavers shot 10-under par Wednesday and briefly moved ahead of the Golden Flashes, but ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ recorded five birdies as a team over the final six holes, despite some late winds, to secure a two-stroke lead in sixth.
ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ celebrated its newest graduates at its Spring 2017 Commencement ceremonies. In total, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ were conferred 5,636 degrees, including 992 associate degrees, 3,319 bachelor’s degrees, 1,139 master’s degrees, 181 doctoral degrees and five educational specialist degrees.

University Libraries will hold its semiannual Stress-Free Zone on Monday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 9, from 3-5 p.m. in the Garden Room on the first floor of University Library. The event is open to all ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ students, faculty and staff.
The No. 12 ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ men’s golf team won its 24th Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship on April 30 at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
The ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Golden Flashes finished the four-round tournament with a score of 3-under par 1,149 (287-288-285-289), breaking its own four-round tournament record for team score. ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ won the tournament by 25 strokes, defeating second-place Ball State at 22-over par.
