ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Student Design Agencies IdeaBase and Glyphix Host Open House on Nov. 17

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ student design agencies IdeaBase and Glyphix will host an open house on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 5-8 p.m. at the IdeaBase and Glyphix studio (138 E. Main St., Suite 203, Kent, Ohio 44240). Guests can arrive anytime during the open house event.

Stop in to see the latest projects created by the design students, mingle with professionals from the area, meet ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ alumni, get a tour of the space and enjoy refreshments. Guests also will get the chance to check out the brand new virtual reality technology and 360-degree cameras housed at IdeaBase.

WKSU Focuses on Food Insecurity With Annual Hunger Challenge

WKSU will welcome representatives from the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½â€™s Campus Kitchen to its studios on Wednesday, Nov. 28, for its 22nd Annual Hunger Challenge. Food insecurity continues to be a major issue for people throughout Northeast Ohio. WKSU’s Hunger Challenge gives food banks a platform to share information about disadvantaged people in our communities.

Digital Media Production Program Sees Significant Jump in Degrees Awarded

The Digital Media Production major, housed in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, has experienced significant growth in degrees awarded.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ awarded the largest number of undergraduate degrees in its history in May 2018. One of the majors with the greatest growth from the previous year was Digital Media Production, which saw an increase of 43 graduates.
