Renee Scherick currently serves as a foundation relations officer for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, she is focused on relationships with foundations, locally and nationally, to increase grant revenue to support university priorities.

Renee began working for ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ in April 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the university.

Prior to joining ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½, Renee held positions at Akron Community Foundation, including major gifts officer, where she guided the foundation’s seven initiative funds by providing development direction for their major gift and donor stewardship programs.

Renee’s favorite thing about ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ is the university’s mission of transforming lives and its worldwide impact through highly recognized research.
