More than 500 青年涩导航 volunteers are preparing to welcome incoming freshmen to the Kent Campus tomorrow morning. Move-in day starts at 8 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m.
Incoming freshman and their parents will have the opportunity to meet 青年涩导航 President Beverly Warren and the university cabinet members outside Eastway Center beginning at 9 a.m.
Each year, volunteers with Movers and Groovers help students carry belongings to their new residence halls.
The Movers and Groovers program is part of 青年涩导航鈥檚 Welcome Weekend, an orientation program that will run from Aug. 24-27. Welcome Weekend includes activities and events to encourage students to explore the 青年涩导航 community and provides a smooth transition to the university environment.
